Fencing and decking are the core of what Capital Fencing Ltd does. We also undertake selected landscaping work where it forms part of the same garden project, keeping the boundary, deck, patio and lawn aligned.
A patio, raised beds or turf can be discussed during the same free site visit, then included clearly in the written quote where the work is suitable.

Patios and paths
We plan patio levels around existing drains, steps and door thresholds, with a slight fall so rain runs away from the house instead of pooling by the back door. Edges are finished neatly where paving meets lawn, beds or decking.
Sleepers, beds and edging
Railway sleepers make strong raised beds and low retaining walls where a garden changes level. They are set on a firm base and fixed together so they stay square as the soil settles behind them. Planting beds and edging give a clean line between lawn and border, which makes the garden easier to keep tidy.
How a landscaping job runs
We start with a visit to see the garden, check levels and access, and talk through the fencing, decking and selected landscaping elements you need. You then receive a written quote setting out the work. On site, fencing and posts come before patios, sleepers and decking, with turf laid last so it is not trampled.
What affects the cost
There is no fixed price for landscaping. The main factors are:
- The size of the area and how many elements are included
- Materials, for example porcelain against other paving, or turf against artificial grass
- Changes in level that call for sleeper walls or steps
- How easily materials can be brought into the garden
Why one team for the whole garden
When one team handles the boundary, the deck and the ground, the pieces meet properly: gravel boards at the right height against a new patio, a deck finished flush with the lawn, a gate that opens clear of the paving.
